The āOpen the Bookā team go regularly into local primary schools to take assemblies and collective worship.Ā Their aim is to bring to life the characters and stories from the Bible, particularly from Jesusā life and teaching, and to show the love of God and the importance of trust in him.Ā This is done through acting and narration, and a team with lots of experience (and cupboards full of props and costumes!) enjoy both the assemblies themselves and the time preparing for them.
